Don Larsen, Chairman of the 65th District Republican Party in the Great State of Utah, has finally convinced me that there is a line which must not be crossed with respect to religions influence on government and politics.
“What”, the gentle reader asks, ”could bring this on?”
Why, a resolution for the Utah GOP State Convention that begins with the following:
Resolution opposing Satan’s plan to destroy the U.S. by stealth invasion
Now, I’m all in favor of destroying Satan’s plans, but…well…read the whole thing. It gets better.

Bio: I am currently a Professor of Security Studies, hold a BS in Management and an MA in National Security Studies, and am pursuing an MA in Systematic and Philosophical Theology.
