Thai Airways First Livery of Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner

The Dreamliner, Boeing 787-8 of Thai Airways is reported completed its livery paint works.

The signature white-purple motive is still use, reflecting the culture of Thai. Painting process has been done at Boeing facility in Everett.

Boeing Everett's paint hangar operates 3 shifts each day for completing the painting works. More than 50 gallons of paint is needed for exterior color. Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner is a widebody aircraft that took 7 days of painting process. All process involving cleaning and stripping as well as special graphic design of Thai Airways logo.

Move into cabin interior, Thai Airways Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner has installed Panasonic Avionics inflight entertainment systems. All member of Star Alliance team used Panasonic as entertainment systems. There will be sixteen inch of screen in business class and eleven inch in economy class cabin.

Thai Airways registering the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner as HS-TQA code and will be on operation after July 2014 for international and regional flight route. Currently there are tens of Thai Airways widebody aircraft fleet, such as super jumbo jet Airbus A380-800, jumbo jet Boeing 747 Series, Airbus A340 Series, Airbus A330 Series and Boeing 777 Series. In the next couple years Thai is still waiting for another Boeing 787-8 and stretched version Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Thai Airways Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner will have two class configuration with 3-3-3 seats layout in economy class. Business class will have 24 seats with special flat-beds service in 2-2-2 seats layout configuration. In other hand, economy class able to accommodate about 240 passengers.
