American and JetBlue New Services Launch

19 June 2014. JetBlue Airlines states that there are two new seasonal nonstop routes to West Palm Beach in Florida and Fort Myers from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

These routes will officially launch in December 2014 during winter season. Additional route is part of empty slot left by American-US Airways merger this year, about 12 slot pairs provided by United States Department of Justice.

The frequency of flight of JetBlue Airlines increased as well by introducing more flights from Ronald Reagan National to many destination, such as Bahamas, Nassau, Hartford Conn and Charleston. Spokesman of JetBlue said that additional flight will be started this summer to Fla. and Tampa.

While then, American group plan to gain more market in domestic and international route in Los Angeles Airport.The spokesman of American states that plenty of new flight will be announced, they will use US Airways Express flag to serve these new route.

The routes are:

LAX - Edmonto, Alberta, LAX - Tampa, Florida, LAX - Vancouver, British Columbia and LAX - San Antonio, all of these routes will start in October and November 2014. Bombardier CRJ-900 with two-classes seat configuration are prepared, yet for Tampa route will go with Boeing 737-800 Next Generation instead.
